Good show(s), old chap!

We had a pretty busy weekend these past few days. First on Friday, we played at Geek Media Expo near Nashville. Due to an unfortunate combination of rain, cold, and the stage being outside and out of the way, it wasn’t all that well-attended of a set, but it was fun regardless. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stick around to hear the other bands either because I had to help with MTAC’s room party.

Then on Saturday, we played a house party with Blue Matches, which is always good times.

Finally, yesterday we drove out to Louisville to play a Halloween show there. The other bands on the bill were Six Foot Fall - a pretty good hard rock/alternative band, Been to the Gallows - an energetic blues rock duo, The Screaming Hand - a trippy and amazing noise/acid/punk band, Ain’t Worth Killing - an impressively tight and catchy punk band, and The Debauchees - who I’m going to call a reggae band? They kind of had reggae bass and guitar lines, but they also had that kind of exhausted-sounding Nirvana Unplugged sound with the vocals. All-in-all everyone did a great job, and I highly recommend catching any of these bands if you get the chance!

We look forward to the next time we can make it up there!

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us!
