We played a show with Chooglin' last November.
They were a really enjoyable, high-energy group! I'd describe their music as what you'd get if ska was derived from funk instead of reggae. (This is, of course, to imply all the best parts about ska: upbeat, energetic, fun, and having a horn section. I know a lot of (terrible, awful) people don't like ska.)
If you get a chance, I definitely recommend checking them out!
